What is The Greatness Challenge?
The Greatness Challenge is an opportunity for young professionals to join the international jury of the ADC*E Awards as part of the Junior Jury.
The programme gives emerging creative professionals the chance to experience first-hand how leading creative directors and ADC*E Awards jury members approach the judging process, from the criteria used to evaluate work to the discussions behind the final decisions.
Back in Bulgaria
ADCE has announced the 13th edition of The Greatness Challenge. As the official representative of ADCE in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Association of Communication Agencies is organising a national competition to select the winning team that will take part in the programme.
The winning team will secure a place for two young Bulgarian professionals on the Junior Jury of the 35th edition of the ADC*E Awards.
Who can take part?
To enter the competition and compete for a place on the ADC*E Awards Junior Jury, you must:
- work at a communication agency that is a BACA member;
- have up to two years of professional experience;
- you do not have to work at the same agency as your teammate – teams can be formed specifically for the competition;
- develop a fundraising project to cover the costs of travel to and from Barcelona, accommodation during the ADC*E Awards 2026 judging on 17–18 November, and personal expenses during your stay;
- execute the project and raise the amount set out in your proposal;
- be willing to join the ADC*E Awards Junior Jury and participate in the professional jury sessions.
What does it mean to be part of the Junior Jury?
- The Junior Jury gets a behind-the-scenes look at the entire judging process, as well as the awards ceremony.
- Young creative professionals will be assigned to a specific ADC*E Awards discipline.
- Junior Jury members do not have voting rights, but are encouraged to actively participate in the judging discussions.
How do you get to Barcelona and join the ADC*E Awards jury?
1. Creative brief – an idea to fund your team’s trip
To enter the national competition, submit a presentation (.pdf, up to 10 slides) by 21 September outlining your idea for a crowdfunding campaign to raise the funds needed to cover your team’s travel, accommodation and personal expenses in Barcelona during the ADC*E Awards judging on 17–18 November 2026.
2. Selecting the team that will represent BACA
All eligible submissions will be reviewed and evaluated against three criteria:
- Creativity / Idea
- Response to the brief
- Strategy
The winning team will be selected by the BACA Board and announced on 24 September.
The jury’s decision is final.
3. Representing Bulgaria at the ADC*E Awards
The winning team will have the opportunity to represent Bulgaria and BACA during the judging of the ADC*E Awards in Barcelona on 17–18 November 2026, while gaining first-hand insight from some of the leading professionals in the European creative industry.
If your idea is selected:
- Your team must execute the campaign and raise the funds needed to cover travel and accommodation in Barcelona.
- Your team must document the campaign in a short video (maximum length: 1:30 minutes).
- Videos from all finalist teams will be evaluated by a jury made up of the ADC*E Board.
- During the judging in Barcelona, you will document your Junior Jury experience in the most creative way possible. The best films will be featured across ADC*E’s social media channels.

Key dates
- 21 September 2026: Deadline for submitting your campaign concept for raising funds to take part in the ADC*E Awards Junior Jury. Submissions should be sent by email or via a file-transfer platform of your choice to office@baca.bg. All submissions must be accompanied by the completed registration form.
- 15 October 2026: Deadline for submitting the video presenting the team’s fundraising campaign. All videos must be sent to the ADC*E team.
- 17–18 November 2026: ADC*E Awards 2026 judging in Barcelona, with the participation of the Junior Jury. Judging starts at 9:00 CET.
