The twenty-fourth edition of FARA, the largest forum of the communication industry in Bulgaria, took place at the Burgas International Congress Center from June 6 to 8, 2024, in Burgas.
The award ceremony for the winners of the Media and Creative Competitions at FARA 2024 was hosted by the charismatic Pepa Nikolova, an actress from the Adriana Budevska Drama Theater troupe. This year’s Festival theme was “In New Light.” In this spirit, new statuettes were presented, following the art direction of the Festival’s recently updated logo.
Based on combined awards from the Creative and Media competitions, the juries granted 1 Grand Prix, 15 Golds, 22 Silvers, 51 Bronzes and 42 Nominations across various categories.
All of the winners from FARA are eligible to participate in the ADCE Awards 2024.
Creative Agency of the Year in the Creative Competition was awarded to Human, with Noble Graphics taking second place and guts&brainsDDB coming in third. The winners were announced by the distinguished Dave Trott, who was invited as a special guest speaker.
In the Media Competition, Chavdar Kenarov, Chairman of BAKA, presented the Media Agency of the Year award as it went to Huts Group, followed by Human in second place, and Zenith, part of Publicis Groupe Bulgaria, in third.
For the third consecutive year, the “Advertiser of the Year” award went to Fashion Days, based on combined points from the Creative and Media competitions. How to write?® took second place, and Fantastico was placed third. Diana Savateva, Deputy Mayor of Culture and Religions of Burgas Municipality, presented the award.
The campaign “The Street of Life” by Noble Graphics for the Foundation “Documentalists” received the Grand Prix. The campaign, highlighting the overlooked issue of donation in Bulgaria, moved the audience to their feet with prolonged applause. Vesela Apostolova, Vice-President of BAKA, announced the special award of the Festival.

FARA 2024 united the advertising community once again, thanks to strong support from Nova Broadcasting Group and Netinfo, and the partnership of the Municipality of Burgas.

The purpose of the Festival is to showcase the achievements of Bulgaria’s communication industry and to recognize the best advertising and communication campaigns. As the largest advertising festival in Bulgaria, organized since 2000 by BACA, it combines a competition for communication campaigns with series of esteemed international speakers. The event attracts professionals from the communication industry, including creative professionals, directors, producers, leading advertisers, marketing specialists, and media representatives.
