ADCE announces the international Jury for this 2024 Awards edition

  • 7 prestigious European creatives have been selected to chair the juries of the ADCE Awards 2024.
  • The whole jury will count with over 50 leading creatives from 22 European countries.
  • Susanna Albuquerque, Executive Creative Director at Uzina, will chair the overall jury.
  • Winners will be announced during the Awards Gala Ceremony, on November 22nd during the ADCE Festival 2024 in Barcelona.
  • All projects that have been awarded in a European National Competition can submit until September 27th.

Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE) has officially announced the jury members for the 33rd edition of the European Creativity Awards. Leading the 2024 ADCE Awards jury are six renowned international professionals as Jury President and the overall jury president will be Susana Albuquerque, Executive Creative Director and Partner at UZINA

These are the distinguished jury president for this edition 2024:

  • Overall Jury President: Susana Albuquerque, Executive Creative Director and Partner at UZINA (Portugal)
  • Film & Audio: Ricardo Wolff, Executive Creative Director at Innocean Berlin (Germany)
  • Print & Outdoor: Hermeti Balarin, Chief Creative Officer at Wieden+Kennedy (United Kingdom)
  • Interactive & Mobile: Nele Erikson, Creative Director and Designer at NOPE (Estonia)
  • Design: Almut Becvar, Creative Director & Partner at Studio Riebenbauer (Austria)
  • Brand Experience: Nerea Cierco, Consultant and Independent Creative Director (Spain)
  • Integrated & Innovation: Jouke Vuurmans, Partner & Chief Creative Officer at Monks. (Netherlands)

In total, 58 leading creatives have been selected from 22 European countries to judge. The juries will meet in Barcelona on October 29th and 30th to evaluate the finest creative work from across Europe. They will award Gold, Silver, and Bronze in each category, as well as the prestigious Grand Prix. Additionally, they will select the ADCE’s Special Awards, which include the European Star-Johannes Newrkla, the Genius Loci, the Green Star, and the Equal Star.

ADCE Festival 2024 and Executive Creative Summit-Barcelona

ADCE Creativity Festival 2024 has been finally announced and will take place in Barcelona on November 21st and 22nd. This annual event brings together a diverse range of professionals who share a passion for innovation and change through creativity. The festival features a dynamic lineup of conferences, workshops, exhibits, and networking opportunities, all designed to inspire new creative solutions.

The Festival will culminate with the Awards Gala Ceremony on Friday 22nd of November where the entire creative community will celebrate the best in graphic design and visual communication of the year.

Throughout the week, Barcelona will be a hub of creativity, hosting the exclusive Executive Creative Summit for the second year on November 19th and 20th.
Curated by The One Club for Creativity, this two-day forum brings together C-suite creatives—such as Chief Creative Officers, Chief Marketing Officers, agency founders, and partners—to discuss key issues affecting their businesses, extending beyond the realm of creativity.

The Global Creative Rankings

Taking part in the ADCE Awards 2024 will not only guarantee visibility all around Europe but, thanks to the merge with The One Club for Creativity, extends the reach of European creativity beyond the continent.

All ADCE laureates will be incorporated into The One Club’s Global Creative Rankings, making it the industry’s foremost global ranking of agencies, brands, work, and creative professionals. 

The Global Creative Rankings will now combine points from The One Show, global ADC Annual Awards, ONE Asia Creative Awards, The One Club US chapter awards, Type Directors Club TDC competitions and ADCE Awards.

Points earned by ADCE Awards winners will contribute to their global visibility and prestige, while also being counted towards the overall network and holding company rankings on a global scale.
